Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chalk River, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
In general, the Scope of Work for this contract includes the following Trenching sequence activities as specified in the Design Package. Disconnect/cut, cap, remove and/or salvage from the perimeter of the Buildings and their associated structures, and underground utilities and services: - Asphalt and concrete surfaces - Existing grass/landscape - Retaining walls, handrails and staircases - Existing hydro lines and transformers - Grounding grids, ground conductors - Existing water mains above and below ground - Existing oil lines Drain, de-energize and remove all substrate structures to a minimum depth of one (1) meter below grade and any foundation. - Demolish and Remove miscellaneous surface elements. - Make the area safe either by backfilling to grade excavated areas, installing fences, or other measures as required to prepare for next phase of demolition.
