The Anderson School of Management requires replacement of the existing pre-cast concrete stairs at the East and South exterior stairwells. Work shall include the demolition of the existing stairs and waterproofing and replacement with cast-in-place concrete stairs, embedded nosing, brick inlays and new waterproofing. Existing handrails to be removed, cleaned and coated and reinstalled. Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, responses to the University's prequalification documents for a Lump Sum contract are sought from prospective prime contractor bidders (hereafter "bidders") for the following project: Anderson Stairs East & South Replacement The University has determined that bidders who submit bids on this project must be prequalified. demolition of the existing stairs and waterproofing and replacement with cast-in-place concrete stairs,
embedded nosing, brick inlays and new waterproofing. Existing handrails to be removed, cleaned
and coated and reinstalled.
The project site will be closed off but the East stairs shall be replaced first, opened for use and then
work shall begin on the South stairs.
Work shall be performed during normal hours with noise producing work performed off-hours.
Mobilization shall not take place until June 13, 2022, after graduation.
