JOB DESCRIPTION: Furnish all labor, material and equipment to reconstruct Fort Street from Quay Street to Beers Street and remove Bard Street from Fort Street to Merchant Street for a complete installation per project plans and specifications. The work includes pavement removal, sidewalk removal, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, grading, aggregate base, curb and gutter, HMA paving, ADA sidewalk ramps, sidewalk replacement, pavement markings, signs, and restoration.

13,000 SYD HMA Paving, Base, Leveling and Wearing Courses 5,000 FT Concrete Curb and Gutter 24,000 SFT Sidewalk and Ramps 770 FT Storm Sewer, Various Sizes 2,300 FT Sanitary Sewer, 10" & 30" 2,200 FT Water Main, 6"-12
A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose.
The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in the bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's interests. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and materials bonds, maintenance and guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates.
All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualificationsfor contractors bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders.
