The Town of Shrewsbury, is requesting proposals for the Demolition of 268 North Quinsigamond Avenue Shrewsbury, MA 01545. The objective of this specification is for a responsible and eligible company with the lowest pricing to demolition the existing structures and clear the site of other items and debris. Project questions will be due in writing to kbaldinger@shrewsburyma.gov no later than Monday January 24, 2022 at 2:00PM Attention is called to minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 Section 26 to 27H inclusive. Prevailing Wage Rates are included with this specification request. All requests for proposals must be accompanied by a bid security of cash or certified check, Treasurer's or Cashier's check by a responsible bank or trust company, or bid bond, payable to the Town of Shrewsbury, in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Bid Form pricing to include lump sum for entire project. Contractor to verify all dimensions and numbers to make themselves familiar with the project prior to submitting a bid.Site visit including viewing of existing plans, specification and order of operation are scheduled by appointment only.
