Renovation of a transportation facility in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Rehabilitation of Hangar 13: Install Hangar Doors at Westover Metropolitan Airport. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the provisions of MGL, Chapter 149, Section 44A through 44J, inclusive, and Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended. The estimated construction cost is: $800,000. General Bidders shall be General Contractors certified through DCAMM in general building and renovation work. The work includes but is not necessarily limited to: the installation of a 200' long x 28' high 10-panel bi-parting, floating, hangar door system on Hangar 13 at the Westover Metropolitan Airport (CEF) including existing building/door demolition and necessary structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical building upgrades to accommodate the new door system. The contractor must comply with certain Federal Contract Provisions identified in the bid documents and WMDC's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program.
