Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Project consists of removal of the existing packaged aircooled chillers and natural gas boilers and associated pumps, piping, and controls. Three new boilers and one new split air-cooled chiller will be installed in in the mechanical room area with new air-cooled remote condensers installed on the roof of the building. New pumps will be provided. Modifications will occur to the existing 2-pipe distribution system to integrate the central plant equipment. New electrical power circuiting for new mechanical equipment will be provided. Construction Start (remaining areas): May 30, 2022 Substantial Completion for Chillers: July 14, 2022 unless noted below a. School starts August 10, 2022 b. HVAC Controls August 16, 2022 c. Final Completion September 14, 2022 It is the Jefferson County Public Schools goal to have 15% minority and 10% women participation in all construction projects. Veteran participation goals will be established based on best practice
