Q&A period: January 18, 2022 to January 27, 2022 Project Description: Siskiyou County will be renovating space for a new Board of Supervisors Chambers. Siskiyou County is in need of an Audiovisual System Upgrade for the newly renovate space. General Information: The system will include voice lift, video presentation and USB connection for Zoom and/or other PC based conferencing systems. The upgrade should include, but not limited to, eleven (11) microphones, one (1) wireless handheld microphone, six (6) mounted loudspeakers, separated into two zones. One zone covering the Board of Supervisors dais. The other zone shall cover the public seating area. The County has an OFCI Biamp DSP that can be reused to serve as the audio processor. An audio recording system that allows the Board Clerk to record meetings in MP4 format. A USB feed will need to be available at the Clerk's table to allow connection for Zoom and/or other PC based conferencing systems and be able to plug into laptops and connect to loudspeakers and room microphones. It is the County's wish to have two (2), articulating, 75 inch (or larger) display screens that will receive the same video signal from one (1) HDMI input. This bid should also include one (1) control panel to allow users to control the system. Award of Contract: The award of the Contract, should it be awarded, will be screened by a selection committee and will be to the responsible bidder or bidders whose Bid complies with all of the requirements prescribed, based on what is in the best interest of the County. Such award, if made, will be made within sixty (60) days after the opening of the sealed bids. The County of Siskiyou reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. The County reserves the right to award multiple contracts as a result of this Request for Bids (RFB). Should an award be awarded, a contract will be negotiated with one or more qualified entity or entities selected during the screening process.
