The City of Visalia is soliciting bids for an annual contract from vendors holding a Class C-16 Fire Protection Contractor license to provide fire sprinkler, clean agent and alarm systems testing and maintenance at various City facilities. The City hereby affirmatively ensures that Minority Business Enterprises and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts and will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be discriminated against. No person will be discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or military and veteran status in any consideration leading to the award of contract. The right is reserved by the City of Visalia to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities not affected by law, to evaluate the bids submitted and to award the contract according to the bid which best serves the interests of said City. The deadline to submit questions regarding this project has been extended to Friday, March 4, 2022.
