Site work and paving for a civil project in Hammonton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

**As of March 2, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $1,255,667.35** The project will consist of the replacement of approximately 1,730 LF of potable water main, 720 LF of sanitary sewer main, lining of 850 LF of sanitary sewer main, select storm sewer improvements, full curb, and driveway replacement, roadway reconstruction, and related site work along Valley Avenue within the Town of Hammonton. Accordingly, the Town of Hammonton will award the project to the qualified Bidder who submits the lowest responsible bid price for the total project construction. Each Bid must state the name and address of person, firm and corporation interested in the same as a principal. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope, addressed to the Town Clerk, Town of Hammonton, 100 Central Avenue, Hammonton, NJ 08037 and identified as "Bid Valley Avenue Roadway & Utility Improvements Phase II" Specifications provide for receipt of Bids by mail. Those Bids which are mailed to the contracting unit shall be sealed, properly marked, and shall only be opened for examination at such time and place as all Bids received are unsealed and announced. The Mayor, Town Council, and its Solicitor (hereinafter referred to as Owner) will be the sole discretionary body for consideration or rejection of the Bids. 3. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS: Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or any authorized postponement thereof. Bids received after time and date designated shall not be considered. No Bidder may withdrawal a Bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. 4. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REGULATIONS: Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (NJAC 17:27). 5. CONTRACT COMPLETION: Construction shall commence at the project site within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date to be specified in the written 'Notice to Proceed' by the Engineer and shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the date the written 'Notice to Proceed' is given, unless otherwise agreed to. 6. PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS: The provisions of the Department of Labor's current wage rate determinations and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act are requirements of this project. 7. PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION ACT: The provisions of the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act are requirements of this project. 8. BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE: The provisions of the New Jersey Business Registration Requirements shall be adhered to on this project. 9. PROJECT FUNDING: This project is funded in part by NJDOT as well as by the Town of Hammonton.
