Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Ridgefield, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a 18,000-square-foot educational facility; for the construction of a 75,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Plans call for a $62.56 million bond referendum on February 8, 2022 for the Ridgefield School District. Bond projects include: A new 75,000-square-foot K-4 elementary school. The site for the school is permitted and construction is ready to begin if the bond is approved by the voters. The school would open in the fall of 2023 Projects also include an 18,000-square-foot expansion at Ridgefield High School, which would include a new metal shop , eight general education classrooms and space for future career and technical (CTE) classrooms. Per the owner, as of May 24, 2022, the 2022 bond has been rejected by the voters.
