Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, equipment and materials for the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation. This project is for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the replacement Voice Communications and Command System (VCCS) and VHF radios located in the Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) as detailed in the specifications. It is the contractors' responsibility to deliver a fully operational communications system that is in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Minimum Equipment List for the systems installed. The new equipment replaces some of the existing outdated equipment. The existing ATCT is equipped with Airport and FAA equipment which will remain in place. Successful supplier will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond. Award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid Gwinnett County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest.
