Summary: Aransas County proposes to construct a 180-foot Self-Support communications tower with an overall height not to exceed 200 feet) including attachments, and associated equipment within a 110-foot by 145-foot (15,950 square foot) lease area. The tower should be painted to ensure durability and shall include all necessary lighting. The project includes a 16- foot-wide access easement that aligns with the existing gate that will extend 35 feet southwest from the lease area terminating at Highway 188. A 24" reinforced concrete pipe culvert with TxDOT approved concrete flanges on either side will be installed in the drainage ditch where the access easement meets Highway 188. Overhead electrical service will be serviced by AEP and will drop down to a service pole or amassed on the shipping container.
