Renovation of a museum in Barnegat, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Prospective bidders whose Qualifications Statements are determined to be acceptable will be identified as Qualified Bidders. The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will notify in writing the Prospective Bidders who have been determined to be Qualified Bidders, as well as those Prospective Bidders who are deemed ineligible to receive plans and specifications. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-25, the County has established Pre-Qualification Regulations for the project entitled Outbuildings Rehabilitation and Exterior Repairs at the Mary Etta Cox House, a Historic Preservation Project funded by the New Jersey Historic Trust. The County held a public hearing at the Ocean County Board of Commissioners meeting of December 1, 2021, where the Pre-Qualification Regulations were adopted and approved. Prospective bidders must submit a completed Qualifications Statement at which time packages will be evaluated by representatives of the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation, the New Jersey Historic Trust, and the Project Architects in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Regulations. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and P.L. 1975 C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.) regarding equal employment opportunities and with the requirements of P.L. 1977 C.33 regarding corporate and/or partnership ownership. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved in accordance with applicable law.
