The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: Fencing Services according to Attachment B - Scope of Work. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) is soliciting bids to construct approximately 6,365 total feet of new fence (~6,105 feet of wood top rail with three strands barbed wire fence and ~260 feet of new 3 wood rail fence; including installing 24 double-H braces, 4 steel gates (12 feet in length), and 4 stream crossings with barbed wire). The project is located at four different "Sites" along the lower Beaver River near Minersville, Utah just off State Route 21 (Map 1). The bid is for all material, equipment, labor, etc. to construct and repair/rebuild fence as specified below. The project will be bid on cost per foot basis for (1) new fence construction and (2) old fence removal. The bid will be awarded based on bid price, experience, and ability to complete work as described in this scope of work. Work can begin as early as March 15, 2022 and needs to be completed by June 30, 2022. Question Submission Close Date 1/31/2022 2:00 PM MST General o The project includes four different "Sites" where fence needs to be newly constructed, rebuilt, removed, and/or repaired. All sites are located in relatively close proximity along the lower Beaver River between Minersville Reservoir and the town of Minersville in Beaver County, Utah. Site 1 o Construct ~5,750 feet of new top rail with 3 strands barbed wire fence and 22 double-H braces, ~160 feet of new 3 wood rail fence (as part of two stream crossings with 3 strands barbed wire), and install 3 steel gates (12 feet in length). Site 2 o Remove and rebuild old stream crossing with ~80 feet of new 3 wood rail fence and 3 strands barbed wire. Site 3 o Remove ~150 feet of existing top rail with 3 strands barbed wire fence. Construct ~180 feet of new top rail with 3 strands barbed wire fence, 2 double-H braces, and install 1 steel gate (12 feet in length). Materials (including gate) from existing fence being removed can be used to construct new fence and double-H braces. Site 4 o Construct ~175 feet of new top rail with 3 strands barbed wire fence and ~20 feet of new 3 wood rail fence (as part of two stream crossings with 3 strands barbed wire). Work can begin as early as March 15, 2022 and needs to be completed by June 30, 2022.
