Sealed bids are requested by the Town of Merrimac for Public Works Materials. The materials requested to be furnished and delivered include, but are not limited to: cement lined ductile iron pipe, resilient wedge gate valves, gate valve boxes, solid sleeves, restrained couplings, water main couplings, anchor tees, caps, reducers, service tubing, curb stops, curb boxes, corporation stops, copper tubing, service saddles. The agreement shall be for the period February 16, 2022, or as soon thereafter as the contract can be executed, through July 16, 2022. At the sole option of the Town, and subject to appropriation of funds, this agreement may be extended for the period July 16, 2022, through September 16, 2022. All Bids shall be submitted within a sealed envelope addressed to the "Board of Selectmen, Merrimac Town Hall, 4 School Street, Merrimac MA, 01860 ." Time is of the essence. Materials shall be ordered immediately. A parallel construction contract is in place and will break ground April 15, 2022, or as soon as materials are delivered.
