Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Espanola, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Town of Espanola is seeking proposals from qualified and professional firms for the design, supply and installation of a splash pad facility to be located on the grounds of Sherwood Park, located at Barber Street, Espanola, ON. The park location map is enclosed as Appendix A - Site Location. Splash pad must include all new and creative splash pad features for a complete and operational splash pad meeting all applicable standards. Upset project limit is $220,000 for the installed splash pad as described herein. Tenders over the upset limit of $220,000 will be disqualified. Tenders below the $220,000 will not be given additional points or preference. The Town would like to maximize the season use with a July 1st park opening. The Town of Espanola recognizes the high demand for the construction of splash pads and the potential for supply chain issues and staffing shortages. The contractor shall provide an estimated time frame for completion of the project based on the award of the tender by Council on March 8, 2022.
