Site work for a swimming pool in Freeport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
The Freeport Park District is seeking bid proposals to replace a filtration pump and pool heater at the Read Park Family Aquatic Center. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1. See Engineering plans provided by WT Group Aquatic Engineering 2. Remove existing pool pump, strainer pot assemblies and dispose of properly. 3. Remove existing pool heater and dispose of properly. 4. Furnish new pump and strainer pot assemblies and pool heater in accordance with IPDH approved engineering documents provided by WT Group. 5. Furnish new pool heater in accordance with IDPH approved engineering documents provided by WT Group. 6. Install pump and strainer pot assemblies according to engineering and manufacturer specifications. 7. Install pool heater according to engineering and manufacturer specification. 8. During the start-up of the pool, verify the assemblies are working properly. 9. Work must be completed by April 29, 2022. 10. Any damage to the pool area from equipment used by the contractor shall be repaired by the contractor
