Project involves approximately 2,800 L.F. of urban street reconstruction, STH 67 turning lane and intersection approach modifications, traffic signal modifications, roundabout construction, clearing and grubbing, removals, grading, aggregate base course, concrete and asphaltic pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, asphaltic path, 8-inch to 10-inch sanitary sewer relay, 8-inch to 16-inch water main relay, 8-inch to 36-inch storm sewer, bioretention facility, electric infrastructure, pavement markings, traffic control and restoration. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Oconomowoc reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to City of Oconomowoc at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to City of Oconomowoc equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc as liquidated damages.
