(1) Project consists of replacing air handling units within a second-floor mechanical room (2E-25) at the University of Missouri Teaching Hospital. Existing units S1-2, S1-3 and S2-1 will be replaced with new units. (2) Demolition shall consist of removal of existing air handlers, piping, ductwork, electrical and miscellaneous components as needed to accomplish the project. (3) Architectural work shall consist of limited existing brick removal, window removal,and window infill with insulated panels. (4) Structural work shall consist of framing and support as needed for the permanent and temporary units. (5) Mechanical work shall consist of a temporary air handling unit, new air handling units, ductwork, piping, controls, and all other items related to installation of the three new units. (6) Electrical work shall consist of providing heat trace, temporary air handling unit power, new feeders from existing distribution equipment and substations on the ground floor of the hospital, distribution equipment within the mechanical room, and all other items related to installation of the three new units.
