Bidder is responsible for all cost associated with obtaining a full set of specifications and instructions to bidders for the project. All bids received at the CITY CENTER MAIN DOOR, 300 South Madison Avenue, Greenwood, Indiana 46142 will be opened publicly and read aloud by the Bid Committee, in the City Meeting Room, City Center, 300 South Madison Avenue, 1st Floor, Greenwood, Indiana, 46142 at approximately 3:00 P.M. (local time) March 25, 2021. All bids received will be returned unopened. Bids will be taken under advisement for an award at the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting at 5:30 P.M. on February 7, 2022. For the project being bid upon, bids are to be submitted on a fully completed Indiana Form #96 (Revised 2013). Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond, in a sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total base bid amount. Bids shall be in sealed envelopes marked with the name and place of business of the bidder and marked "2021 RRGCF - Crossing Closure Project at Crossing #535594F (Academy Street)". A performance bond equal to the contract price and a payment bond to insure the payment of any subcontractors, contract laborers, material suppliers and persons furnishing services will be required upon award of contract.
