Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Wayland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
All questions regarding the project are to be directed in writing to John Rehkopf at john@northernas.com or by fax at 866-214-4739. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount is required and shall accompany the bid. Bid security may be in the form of a bid bond issued by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the State of Michigan, a cashier's check, or money order payable to Wayland Union Schools. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid date. Wayland Union Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Proposals, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the contractor(s) submitting the best financial Proposal (lowest proposer), in its sole and absolute discretion Close Out Documentation (including signed waste shipment records): 45 days following completion Bid Bond: 10% of the bidders total bid (submitted with bid). b. Performance bond: 100% of the Contract value (at least 10 days before start of work). c. Payment bond: 100% of the Contract value (at least 10 days before start of work)
