Renovation of a stadium in Brandon, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Operating under the direction of an eleven member Board of Directors appointed by the Keystone Centre Member Group, comprised of the Province of Manitoba, City of Brandon and Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba, the Keystone Centre exists to provide recreation, convention and agricultural facilities to the citizens of Brandon and Manitoba. The Keystone Centre's scope of operations includes approximately 540,000 sq feet of indoor space on 90 acres that consist of recreation, agricultural and convention facilities. Within these facilities, the Keystone Centre hosts significant events such as Brandon Wheat King home games annual fairs, large conventions and day-to-day recreation activities. The Keystone welcomes approximately 1.2 million visitors per year for over 2,800 event days. The current CCTV system has exceeded its useful life and does not meet the facility's requirements. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to secure a qualified contractor to provide planning guidance, supply, installation and training for a replacement video surveillance system at the Keystone Centre. The scope of the work will be outlined in Section "D" - Specification of this document. While all proposals will cover the entire project, budget limitations may require that this project become a multiphase roll out.
