Port Huron Area School District will accept sealed proposals for the HVAC upgrades at Holland Woods Middle School, located at 1617 Holland Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060, Michigamme Elementary, located at 2855 Michigan Road, Port Huron, MI 48060, Keewahdin Elementary, located at 4801 Lakeshore Road, Fort Gratiot, MI 48059 and Roosevelt Elementary, located at 1112 20 th Street, Port Huron, MI 48060. Each proposal must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or standard form bid bond, made payable to the Port Huron Area School District in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid submitted. Failure of any accepted Bidder to enter into contract for the work will cause forfeit of his bid security. After contracts for the work have been signed, all bid securities will be returned. The winning bidder will have to furnish performance and labor & material payment bonds, the cost of which should be included in the project bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in bids, to reject any and/or all bids, in whole or in part, or to award any Contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owner's best interest to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
