Reference Number 0000216157 Source ID PU.AC.ON.219949.C104400 Job Location 33 Gould St, Toronto, ON M5B 1E9 Question Acceptance Deadline 2022/02/03 12:00:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No The University is conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and inspection Services to maintain the environmental parameters of the Ryerson Image Centre (RIC) in such a manner as is acceptable to both the Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board (CPPERB), the Canadian Conservation Institute and internationally accepted preservation standards so the gallery can maintain a Category "A" designation as further described in Appendix B - Deliverables. Ryerson intends to execute a Master Services Agreement, provided in Appendix E. The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated. Conditions for Participation The award of a Final Agreement to a Successful Proponent is conditional on the Successful Proponent providing the following information to Ryerson, in accordance the timeframes specified by Ryerson: a) Insurance: 1. Commercial general liability insurance, on an occurrence basis for third party bodily injury, personal injury and property damage, to an inclusive limit of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence and including products and completed operations liability. The policy is to include the following: i. Ryerson as an additional named insured with respect to liability arising in the course of performance of the Supplier's obligations under, or otherwise in connection with, the Agreement ii. Contractual liability coverage iii. Cross-liability and severability of interest clause iv. employers liability coverage (or compliance with item #2 below that begins with "A clearance certificate from the Ontario Workplace Safety Insurance Board" is required) v. an obligation on the Supplier's insurer to provide 30 day written notice of cancellation, termination or material change to Ryerson. vi. tenants legal liability coverage (if applicable and with suitable sub-limits) vii. non-owned automobile coverage with blanket contractual coverage for hired automobiles. 2. A clearance certificate from the Ontario Workplace Safety Insurance Board, or if the Successful Proponent is not subject to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (Ontario), evidence of employers' liability coverage equivalent to WSIB coverage in the amount of not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000.00). b) Agreement to Comply with Ryerson University COVID-19 Vaccination Policy: Complete and return the fourth page of the Agreement to Comply with Ryerson University COVID-19 Vaccination This is an agreement and acknowledgement from the Successful Proponent to Ryerson verifying their compliance with Ryerson's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Mandatory Submission Requirements File #1 Proposal Acknowledgement Form - Pass/Fail Minimum Passing Score The Minimum Passing Score for Step 2: Technical is 60% or 39 out of 65 Points. Applicable Trade Agreements This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s): o BPS Procurement Directive; o The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five; o The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9]; o Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA); Contract Details The term of the Final Agreement is three (3) years, plus two (2) optional renewal periods of one (1) year each, at the discretion of Ryerson. Suppliers are encouraged to obtain the procurement documents which contain the most current information. Site Visit(s) will be completed in accordance with Ryerson's COVID-19 Requirements. This will include practicing physical distancing, the use of PPE (masks), completion of a health-screening questionnaire and following Toronto Public Health guidelines. Proponent Personnel are required to complete a Health Screening Questionnaire on the day of the scheduled site tour. Ryerson will provide these details to Proponents once they register for the Site Visit.
