Manchester Water Works (MWW) is seeking proposals from qualified HVAC contractors to install three (3) new 2.5 ton Trane Model # 2TTR2030A1000AA (or owner approved equivalent) 208v (single phase Preferred ) split a/c units at the Lake Massabesic Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located at #1581 Lake Shore Road, Manchester, NH 03109. The units will be installed in each of the WTP's three (3) ozone generator power supply unit (PSU) cabinets. All questions shall be submitted electronically to Mr. Tim Duval, Power & Process Control Manager (tduval@manchesternh.gov) no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the bid date. It is not the intent of this Scope of Work to explicitly define every detail or task required to complete the installation of the three (3)specified A/C units. The bidder shall use their experience and specialized skills to perform a complete, safe, quality installation that complies with all current National Electrical Code, State of New Hampshire, and City of Manchester Code requirements. The detailed Scope of Work shall include (but not be limited to) the following items: Supply all materials, equipment, labor required to complete the installation. Supply all permits as required by the authorities having jurisdiction. The scope of the work must be performed in a manner so that the operational staff at the MWW water treatment plant will have two (2) fully operational Ozone Generator systems available at all times. MWW staff will assist in making units available and safe for the work to be performed. Due to seasonal increase in production demand, MWW requires work to be completed by June 1st 2022.
