Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lemont, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work will include removals, earthwork, concrete curbs, concrete paving, asphalt paving, shade canopy installation, bench installation, play equipment installation, engineered wood fiber play surfacing, artificial turf play surfacing, planting, and seeding, and sub drainage. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond per the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Lemont Park District. The successful bidder, as determined by the Lemont Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Lemont Park District (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Lemont Park District, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month. The Lemont Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Lemont Park District. The Lemont Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
