Description of work : Rehabilitation of approximately 4,500 lf of 24-inch to 33-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe with cured in place pipe liner, rehabilitation of 12 manholes. Pursuant to Section 1770, California Labor Code, the successful Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded, and upon all subcontractors, shall pay no less than the general prevailing wage rates to all workers employed in the performance of the Contract. Pursuant to Section 1771.1, California Labor Code, a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code or engage in the performance of any contract for public works, unless currently registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations as a public works contractor. Contractor shall possess a valid Class A, General Engineering license at the time of the bid opening and for the duration of the contract. DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Project is located along San Tomas Expressway between W. Campbell Avenue and Waldo Road in the City of Campbell. The pipeline traverses from Manhole (MH) 4-012-10 at the intersection of Waldo Road and Old Orchard Road northward terminating at MH 3-011-01 at the intersection of San Tomas Expressway and W. Campbell Avenue. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Trenchless rehabilitation of approximately 4,465 If of 24-inch to 33-inch diameter Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) trunk sewer. Locating and raising one existing sanitary sewer manhole to grade. Rehabilitation of 12 existing sanitary sewer manholes. Site and pavement restoration.
