Renovation of a laboratory facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
This project involves the replacement of AHU-1 and AHU-2 and the installation of an outdoor air handling unit. AHU-1 and AHU-2 are located in the main mechanical room and will be replaced along with the condensing units, in a sequenced manner to ensure that one unit is always operational. The concrete pad supporting the condensing unit, will be modified to accommodate the new units. An additional air handling unit is to be installed on the south side of the building to serve the office space of Building 14. A concrete pad will be required to support the new air handling unit. Work is to be completed within 17 weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,001 to $1,000,00.
