Site work and renovation of a medical facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call civil work for a medical clinic.
Work of this Contract comprises replacement of the loading bridge/ramp "ceremonial ramp" located at the back of the building (facing north-east) at 1745 Alta Vista Dr. (National Defense Medical Centre) and all associated work. The proposed replacement includes the following upgrades to the existing components: .1 Structural: .1 Remove and replace concrete bridge ramp, abutment wall, and footing. .2 Remove and replace guards for bridge ramp. .3 Restore or replace lintel above areaway doorway (at basement level) .4 Restore building structural connection at exterior wall lost during replacement of bridge ramp. .5 Replace sidewalk and curbs lost during excavation to replace abutment wall. .6 Provide bridge ramp with paved asphalt surface and restore asphalt driveway leading up to ramp. .7 Install topsoil and sod to reinstate original look at end of contract. Building Exterior: .1 Replace man door at sidewalk. .2 Remove and replace damaged brick on existing wall face on each side of bridge ramp.
