Site work and paving for a road / highway in Castle Rock, Colorado. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project involves widening the eastbound lanes from the intersection of Woodlands Boulevard at Fifth Street to the intersection of Fifth Street and Ridge Road. The objective of this project is to reduce congestion due to forecasted traffic volumes which have been identified as an area of concern in the Community Survey. Additional pedestrian improvements will be incorporated to improve safety between Woodlands Boulevard and Ridge Road. The timing of this project is proposed to occur with the intersection improvements at Fifth Street and Ridge Road in order to minimize disruption to the community. As of February 18, 2025, this project is included in the Town of Castle Rock Budget FY 2025 CIP. This project is in the design phase. Construction should begin in the summer of 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
