Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

This project provides for the full reconstruction of a portion of Taxiway B (a concrete taxiway pavement segment approximately 550 feet in length by 275 feet in width) and a portion of the G Concourse Apron between gates G12 and G15 (a concrete apron pavement segment approximately 550 feet in length by 350 feet in width). The project includes construction of the concrete taxiway and apron pavements; taxiway centerline lighting; apron lighting; fueling system upgrades; storm sewer; glycol sewer; grading and drainage improvements; and pavement marking. Each bid shall be accompanied by a "Bid-Security" in the form of a certified check made payable to the MAC in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, or a surety bond in the same amount, running to the MAC, with the surety company thereon duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota. Such Bid Security to be a guarantee that the bidder will not, without the consent of the MAC, withdraw its bid for a period of (70) days after the opening of bids, and, if awarded the Contract, will enter into a contract with the MAC, and in connection therewith, give Payment and Performance Bonds as required by law and on forms furnished to the Contractor by the MAC. In the event the Bidder fails to enter into a Contract, the amount of the certified check will be retained or the bond enforced by the MAC. The Bid Security of the three (3) lowest bidders will be retained until the contract is executed, but in no event longer than (70) days, provided that the Bid Security of the lowest responsible bidder shall be retained in any event until the contract is executed and Payment and Performance Bonds furnished as herein provided. This project is not subject to the MAC's Project Labor Agreement requirements. Est. Value Notes: $12,300,000-$14,500,000 The MAC, however, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor irregularities, informalities or discrepancies. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
