Demolition and site work for a residential development in Ackerman, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the specifications and must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check or acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid: such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post performance bond in the form and amount with in the time specified. The bid bond, if used, shall be payable to the owner. A. Bid security shall be submitted and equal to five percent (5%) ofthe bid amount ifthe bid exceeds $50,000.00 based on estimated tonnage. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities and irregularities. B. The owner reserves the right to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to sixty (60) days. A. A pre-bid conference WILL NOT be held for this project. The site is available for review. Call for a walkthrough. A. The successful bidder shall begin work upon receipt of a written notice to proceed and shall complete the work by the date of April 15, 2022. Work is subject to liquidated damages.
