Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chesterfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of all work necessary to remove and reconstruct 4" thick, 6" thick existing sidewalk, handicap ramps, and concrete aprons, including all necessary property restoration in various locations, as designated by the City. The awarded Contractor shall have 365 days from the date of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. This project is intended to address sidewalk deficiencies throughout the City for the period of March 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023. Sidewalk quantity will vary based upon need; an estimate is provided in the bid tab for the purpose of comparing bids. The City intends to construct $200,000 worth of sidewalk improvements with this project. Not less than the prevailing hourly rates of wages as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri, or determined by court on appeal, shall be paid to all workers performing work under this Contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities therein, to determine the lowest and best bid as determined in the sole discretion of the City.
