The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: Removal and replacement of walk-in refrigerator and freezer at Orem Elementary including connecting and starting the condensing units on the outside. This contract will result in one contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible bidder. The duration of this project. Orem Elementary needs to replace their current walk-in Refrigerator and Freezer o Vendor is responsible for removal and disposing of current equipment o Current equipment is an ABC Commercial, 14' x 9.5' x 8' o Vendor will hook up and start the condensing units on the outside of the building. o District will be responsible to have power run to a service disconnect o The boxes measurements should be 15' 6" (w) x 9"6" (D) x 8' 6" (H) o 404A refrigerant preferred o No head master, fan cycling control preferred o 3ph condensing units o Left hinge doors o White in/ white out o Floors and ramps o New shelving o Door to be centered to walkways o Core drilling o Matching side closures o Drains and heat tape o District will provide fence and any plumbing modifications o Project to be done in June/July 2022 ASDs Orem Elementary has and older model walk-in refrigerator and freezer that need to be removed and replaced in accordance with the Scope of Work and specifications listed. Issuing Procurement Unit, Conducting Procurement Unit, and Solicitation Number The Alpine School District Department of Purchasing is the issuing procurement unit and Nutrition Services is the conducting procurement unit for this IFB (referred to as the District). The reference number for this IFB is Solicitation #02022022KWR.
