The intent of this solicitation is to select multiple Bidder(s) to provide firm fixed pricing for Athletic Field Irrigation - Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair services on behalf of the School Board of Volusia, County, Florida (herein referred to as the District) and the Facilities/Maintenance Department - Athletic Fields Division. These services will include, but are not limited to services, inspections, maintenance, repairs, annual inspections, and emergency services, as well as parts, labor and supervision needed to maintain District athletic field irrigation. Travel time is NOT included as a separate cost. Services are to be provided to various District sites within Volusia County, Florida at bidder(s) specified firm unit pricing, hourly labor rates and percentage (%) discounts off manufacturer suggested retail price on parts, supplies and materials needed for repairs during this contract period. The Contractor(s) shall provide Athletic Field Irrigation Maintenance, inspection, and repairs including, but not limited to as-needed services, emergency services, annual service responsibilities, inspections & repairs. Additionally, these services may also include surrounding areas directly outside of these perimeters depending upon supply line cut offs for the District Athletic Fields. The performance of the awarded Contractor(s) shall be in accordance with the terms of the specifications as set forth herein. Failure to comply with these requirements may be cause for bid rejection or award cancellation.
