The Project is located at Lincoln Blvd between Lowell Ave and Linda Place. Work includes: Removal and installation of 12" Sewer Main and lateral services; bypass sewer flow; asphalt and aggregate base removal and replacement; traffic loop replacement and striping etc. The planned timeframe for work is between March 2022 and May 2022. Contract time to be ninety (90) consecutive calendar days. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A, General Engineering Contractor's License. DIR Registration. Contractor must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal. Bids are required for the entire project work and shall be made upon the Bid Forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Requirements. This Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements, available at City Engineer's office or portal applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed. Bonds. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract Price, and a warranty bond for 10% of the maximum Contract Price. Substitution of Securities. Substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments is permitted under Public Contract Code section 22300. Subcontractor List. A completed Subcontractor List form must be submitted with the Bid Proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
