Demolition and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Clovis, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a 57,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

The Fairgrounds needs to expand in order to accommodate current and future equine, rodeo, agricultural and cultural arts events and covered horse stalls are needed in order to accommodate larger equestrian events. If these items were addressed, then the County could host more events, which would bring more economic development to the area. The scope is to demolish existing livestock facilities and to construct a new multi-purpose livestock facility at approximately 57,000 square feet to be used to accommodate 250 horse stalls, hold livestock shows and other related events. The County will issue an RFP for the design and issue a bid for the construction of the improvements. As of July 28, 2023,a General Contractor has been awarded, this project is in included in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration FY 2023-2027 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). An architect has been selected. Construction is slated to begin August 2023 and complete June 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). Brady Street, Clovis, NM. RFP's must be submitted in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked: "RFP No. 2022/23-04--Do Not Open" along with the Offeror's name and address.
