Marathon County Solid Waste Department (MCSWD) that it will receive Bids for the Bluebird Ridge RDF Phase 5B Clay Haul and Stockpile Hauling and stockpiling clay for Phase 5B liner are described in the Invitation to Bid and include, in general, the following: o Procuring, hauling, and stockpiling 40,000 cubic yards of NR 504 landfill liner quality clay from a qualified commercial non)metallic mine. Work includes but is not limited to performing the following: Excavating clay soils from the borrow source, hauling clay soils to the Marathon County Landfill, stockpiling clay soils at the location specified in the project drawings, install and maintain silt fencing, and other associated appurtenances in accordance with the construction drawings and project specifications. No bids shall be considered unless submitted following the requirements outlined in the Invitation to Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bidding and to award the contract(s) in the best interests of the Owner. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid opening. The work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 66.0901 and 66.0903 and other applicable sections of the Wisconsin Statutes. The General Code of the County of Marathon contains various procurement policies which are applicable to the proposed procurement.
