2. Submit documents in a sealed envelope addressed and submitted to the Allentown Housing Authority, Gross Towers, 1339 W. Allen Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania 18102. The envelope(s) should be clearly marked "Proposal for Grass Cutting". The Authority provides housing and housing related services to low-income families in the City of Allentown. The Authority has a public housing inventory of 987 apartments and the Housing Choice Voucher Program provides support to approximately 1,600 families. All applicable Equal Employment Opportunity requirements for federally assisted contracts must be complied with. This includes strict compliance with Executive Order 11246, as amended (establishing a goal of 6.9% for female employment and 1.3% minority percentage by craft); Nondiscrimination; Executive Order 11625, Minority Business Enterprises; Executive Order 12138, Women Business Enterprise; Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Civil Rights Act of 1964; and Minority Business Participation. Questions regarding this solicitation may be submitted on or before Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 3:00 PM in one of the following ways: 1. via the "Clarifications" feature in PennBid or; 2. via the "Questions and Answers" section at the Housing Agency Marketplace website; Responses to questions will be provided no later than Friday, February 18, 2022, at 3:00 PM. The Allentown Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in bidding, and to withhold award for a period of sixty (60) days.
