The City of Fayetteville is accepting bids from properly licensed firms for the rehabilitation to an existing 1 million-gallon water town located on top of Markham Hill. Rehabilitation work includes painting of the interior and exterior of the tank; furnishing and installing a new active mixing system; constructing overflow modifications, access and safety improvements, and structural improvements. Work shall include all items as set out in the drawings and specifications for a complete installation. The City of Fayetteville shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected bids, or failure of bidder's technical equipment. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond is required with the contract awarded. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License is required for all bidders and license shall be valid at the time of bid deadline.
