To plan, design, complete archaeological/environmental studies, ROW/Easements, and construct waterline extension of approximately 20 miles (6 inch or less PVC pipe) waterline to serve 25 community homes. Becenti Chapter will coordinate with Indian Health Services and Navajo Capital Projects Management Department with planning, implementing, and construction. Phase I consists of the ROW/easements rchaeological and environmental studies), planning, preliminary design of the project. Phase I will take no longer than 24 months to complete. Phase II & III includes final design and construction takings no longer than 48 months to complete. Phasing and timelines for design and construction could be modified depending on schedules and availability of funding sources. NTUA will own and operate the system. The Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent. The project is included in the 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
