This Request for Standing Offers ("RFSO") is issued for the purpose of selecting two (2) or more experienced and qualified flagging and traffic control Contractors, on a non-exclusive basis to supply professional Flagging and Traffic Control Services at various Work Sites within the City of Chilliwack (the "City") on an "as and when" required basis. The City reserves the right to determine the maximum number of Contractors to enter into a Standing Offer with. Flagging and Traffic Control Services are delivered on an as, if and when required basis through the issuance of a Work Assignment. No commitments or guarantees are made in respect to the number or value of Work Assignments that may be requested from the Contractor over the effective period of the Standing Offer. The proposed Standing Offer shall be for one (1) year from the date of award, with the option to extend the Standing Offer for up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms, subject to the performance satisfaction of the Services performed and successful negotiation of rates between both parties. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
