CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/11/2022 2:00 PM Work is located at six schools: CB High School East, Tamanend Middle School, Buckingham Elementary School, Barclay Elementary School, Pine Run Elementary School and Gayman Elementary School. Work includes correction of safety deficiencies for existing roof access ladders and hatches at identified schools. Work also includes the installation of new access ladders where no ladder currently exists. Work for each school location is specified in the Project Drawings. Work includes the repair, replacement or installation of new roof access ladders or roof access hatches. Work will include the fabrication of site specific access ladders. Any existing ladders or materials removed as part of the project shall be disposed of as part of the contracted work. Any required disposal or metal recycling containers shall be the responsibility of the contractor and part of the contracted work. Work shall include the preparation and submission of submittals for specific work at each location. The Contractor shall utilize the Contract Drawings as a guide for the intended purpose but will be required to provide shop drawing designs based on field measurements to meet applicable OSHA requirements for safety. Some roofing work may be required for penetrations of existing roof membranes. Roofing work shall be performed by a certified roofer to maintain existing roof warranties.
