This notice is related to FA8201-22-R-SUNSHADE Sources Sought. FA8201-22-R-0002 Aircraft Sunshade Inspection, Maintenance and Repair, Hill AFB UT 21 Jan 2022 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial products or commercial services procedures are being used, the synopsis required by 5.203 and solicitation is being issued as a single document. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired. To inspect, maintain, and repair 72 Aircraft Sunshades (arranged in 6 rows of 12) located at Hill AFB UT on the 388th Fighter Wing Flight Line. Inspection, maintenance and repair to include Structural Supports for signs of corrosion, excessive movement, cracking or damage; lateral bracing for signs of corrosion, loosening, cracking, missing hardware, or fatigue damage, particularly at the connections; structural anchorage for signs of loosening and cracking around anchorage points on apron, lights, electric, bird nesting mitigation and lightning protection, Foreign Object, cleanliness and serviceability of installed safety markings. Vendor shall provide all necessary equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, personnel, labor, supervision, and management to perform the Inspections, Maintenance, and Repairs. The contractor shall perform inspections, maintenance and repairs in accordance with original equipment manufacturers' (OEM) specifications, procedures, industry standards or best practices, (in that order) and in accordance with applicable federal, state and local building code and regulations or equivalent military standard Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS). The contractor shall advise the Government's Program Manager (PM) of any conflicts/ambiguities in the various documents before beginning any task. Period of Performance (Pop) 31 Jan 2022 to 30 Jun 2022. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
