The work is generally described as follows Base Bid - Parallel Taxiway Asphalt Pavement - Mill, HMA Overlay, and Pavement Markings Additive Alternate No. 1 Connector Taxiways Asphalt Pavement - Mill, HMA Overlay, and Pavement Markings The Contract time is 45 consecutive calendar days for the Base Bid. No additional Contract time will be awarded for Additive Alternate No. 1; therefore, the additive alternate will be completed concurrently with the Base Bid work. In order to ensure that Mississippis Golden Rule is followed, state law requires a non-resident bidder to attach to his bid, a copy of his/her resident states current laws pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi Board of Public Contractors establishing classification as to the value and type of construction work on which he is authorized to bid.
