The City of Horatio, Arkansas is soliciting engineering services for wastewater system improvements project to be funded by USDA-Rural Development. The engineering services will be in accordance with USDA-RD requirements and will consist of, but not be limited to the following: 1. Preparation of a Pre-Application and Preliminary Engineering Report for the Water/Wastewater Advisory Committee; 2. Preparation of an Environmental Report; 3. Preparation of a loan application 4. Designing and preparing plans and specifications for the wastewater system improvements; 5. Preparation and implementation of an Operation & Maintenance Manual. Each interested firm will be required to submit two (2) copies of a Statement of Qualifications for the wastewater system improvements project that includes: 1. Identification of the legal name, office location(s), and principal owner(s) or partner(s) of the firm; 2. A statement of the proposer's understanding of the project; 3. A list identifying the location, owner, cost, brief description, and disposition of work which is comparative in nature to the project considered under this proposal; 4. A resume of the qualifications and experience of each member of the proposer's staff and any other technical consultants who may be employed for this project. Engineering firms that provide a Statement of Qualifications may be asked to participate in an interview prior to final selection. Interview expenses shall be borne by the firm. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
