Question Cutoff Date 2/2/2022 02:00:00 PM (ET) It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Over view: This solicitation is for the removal of the existing footing and the installation of the new light pole footing, new wiring, and new light pole head. DOT will provide the new 15" transformer base (Part No. A2849-G1) and light pole (Single truss pole with 8' mastarm rise and 13' mastarm length and 36' pole length) that is to also be installed. This is project is exempt from state sales tax. One purchase order will be issued for this project. Insurance listing the Iowa DOT as additional insured will be required prior to a PO being issued. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tiffany Stupp (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted to Tiffany Stupp in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system.
