As of December 14, 2023, this project is in the planning stages. Construction is anticipated to commence spring 2024. The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. Step 1: Request for Qualifications Deadline for written questions/requests for clarification (see section 6) 02/07/22 4:00pm Owner completes evaluation, post results, and issues notification to finalist firms 02/23/22 - 03/11/22 Step 2:Request for Proposals Owner issues notice to finalist firms to propose as instructed in RFP 03/11/22 Deadline for finalist submission of written questions and requests for clarification 03/23/22 2:00 PM Deadline for submission of Fee Proposals (day before interviews) 04/05/22 2:00 PM Owner interviews finalist firms 04/06/22 CCCA will serve as a multi-use music and events venue for southeast Georgia, providing cultural, economic, and social programming to K-12 and college students, as well as the community at large. CCCA will support CCG's academic programming, co-curricular programming, and extra-curricular programming and will work collaboratively with the BOE to seek educational and cultural programming opportunities. CCAC will include a 1,000 seat capacity performance quality auditorium with high quality acoustics to accommodate music and dance performances, lectures, meetings, and other events. Additional components would include a lobby and backstage area with adequate storage.
