Renovation of a parking garage in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The City of Victoria seeks a qualified Electrical or General Contractor for design and installation services for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) to support expansion of its public electric vehicle charging network. In 2022, the City forecasts it will install 100 - 150 Level 2 chargers. This pace of installation is expected to continue through to 2027. Currently, the City has a public network of 19 Level 2 chargers and a corporate network of 16 Level 2 chargers. Twenty-eight (28) of the existing chargers are provided by Addenergie/Flo with the balance being non-networked chargers dedicated to fleet vehicle charging. There is an immediate need for installation of twelve (12) Level 2 wall mounted chargers with load management at View Street Parkade. The chargers are to be located on the 5th floor of the parkade. The Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) will be Flo Core+ units supplied by the City configured for load management.
