Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

Plans call to construct 10,000 square-foot, two story building including three drive-through apparatus bays, dorm rooms for firefighters, a day room and kitchen. The new fire station will also incorporate cancer awareness best practices, including extractors to wash the firefighters bunker gear, a system to remove exhaust fumes. In addition, it will have a cascade system for filling breathing air cylinders. As of February 18, 2026, the project has been completed.
